General Community Info

We are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. We are closed on Sundays. We’re open for self-guided tours daily here, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Our apartment community is located in Clermont County 20 miles east of Downtown Cincinnati with easy access to St Rte 32 and I-275.

The Slate Apartments is in the West Clermont Local School District. Nearby schools include Clough Pike Elementary School, West Clermont Middle School and West Clermont High School.

You must present a valid government ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.) before our team begins a tour. Your ID will be held by our team during your tour and returned at the completion of your tour.
Leasing & Application Process

To apply, complete the online application here and submit the required documents. Once your application is submitted, someone from our Resident Screening team will reach out with next steps within 1-2 business days.

We charge a non-refundable application fee of $50 per applicant, ages 18 and older, and a refundable* admin fee of $200 per apartment.

All applicants must meet our screening criteria, which includes a credit check, background check, income verification, and rental history review.

We offer a variety of lease term options, ranging from 9 to 15 months. Pricing may vary based on lease length and availability.
For Pet Owners

Yes! We’re a pet-friendly community and allow up to two (2) pets per apartment! We do have breed restrictions. Please contact us here with any questions.

An upfront, non-refundable pet fee of $300 (1 pet) and $600 (2 pets) is due at move-in. Monthly pet rent is $30 per pet. For questions about fees or breed restrictions, contact our team here.

No, the monthly pet rent and the upfront pet fee(s) are waived for a registered ESA. A doctor’s note or certificate must be submitted to show your pet is registered.

We have an off-leash dog park at our Clermont County apartment community!
Moving In
-
On the day your lease begins, all leaseholders (ages 18+) must sign the lease agreement. We cannot hand over keys until this step is complete. If you haven’t done so already, you must also submit your pro-rated rent and deposit, renter’s insurance documentation, and pet ESA paperwork.

Your keys will be held in the leasing office and are only available for pickup during business hours listed here.

We have elevators in each building and we don’t have a loading dock.
Amenities & Lifestyle

We offer outdoor surface parking that's first-come, first-served. We also have guest parking spaces available.

No, we don't have EV charging stations.

We have package lockers in our leasing office building. This is where packages are delivered.

No, we do not offer additional storage space for rent.

No, we don’t offer garage parking or private garages for rent. Parking is surface-lot only.

Resident Support

Rent is due by the 5th of each month. Payments made after the 5th of the month will begin to incur penalties, outlined in your lease agreement here.

You can pay rent online via the resident portal here or in person via check or money order payable. Please note your apartment name on checks or money orders.

To submit a maintenance request, visit the resident portal here. In case of emergency, please call 911. Our team will respond to non-emergency work orders during regular business hours.

Lease renewal notices are delivered 60 days before your lease end date. Renewals can be completed on the resident portal here or in person.
Moving Out

If you need to break your lease for any reason, you can do so. However, you will be required to pay a fine of one month’s rent and will owe through 60 days, totaling 3 months’ rent. This is outlined in your lease agreement on your resident portal here.

We require a written 60-day notice, outlined in your lease agreement on the resident portal here. You must send your notice via email or in written form. A verbal notice will not be accepted.

When it’s time to move out, drop off your keys to the leasing office in an envelope with your apartment number listed. Make sure to pay your prorated rent online here or via a check or money order.
